PRESCHOOL

Trinity Baptist Church offers a variety of age-appropriate activities for preschoolers
(birth to K-5)

Whether you’re thinking about stopping by for just one Sunday or you’re interested in sticking with us for a while, we’re glad you’re checking out Trinity. The following are a few things that could be helpful to know before you get here.

Arriving a bit early is a good idea on your first day with us. Our parking lots can be busy on Sundays, and it’ll take a couple minutes to fill out registration information for your children.

On Sundays, kids experience relationships with volunteers and age-appropriate programming, learning the story of God and the way of Jesus. Kids of all ages engage in both small- and large-group activities where they learn that their identity is in Christ, that they have belonging in the Church, and that they have a role to play in God’s mission.

Pick up your child in the Preschool area after the Worship Gathering or Sunday School. Kids will often have a take-home sheet to help you know about that morning, including questions/ideas that families can talk about during the week.

Find us by driving to the back of the building, and following the signs.  The Preschool department is located on the first floor.

Register and Check-in at the appropriate age-group area. Our staff and volunteers will be ready to assist you. We use a check-in system called KidCheck.  You will need to create an account at check-in, or you can download the app and do it at home!  We will gather a little bit of information to help us serve you and your child better.  If we need you before pickup, we will send a text to the cell phone number you provide us.  You will both receive stickers to ensure we only give your child to authorized persons.

*All volunteers who work with our kids have been screened and background checked for safety

Sunday Mornings

Preschool Worship 9:30-11:00

Ages two through five learn about God through the Gospel Project Curriculum. It is the entire Bible taught on a three year plan. It’s presented on an age appropriate level with ample opportunities for games, songs, and hands-on manipulatives. Volunteers ensure each child’s needs are met and that God is glorified. Children are encouraged to participate in group discussions that help them learn how to apply Biblical truths to their lives. There is nothing more important than helping young children know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. Our staff and volunteers gently guide children to understanding God’s role in their lives. Infants to one year olds are cared for by loving volunteers who help meet the needs of the children.

Sunday School 9:30 & 11:00

Sunday school is offered for children birth through K-5. Our dedicated teachers provide support, love, and developmentally appropriate Bible learning activities. For the little ones, six weeks to two years of age, there is lots of love to share through the caring hands of wonderful men and women who volunteer in the nursery area. Our caregivers meet the needs of each little one while introducing them to Bible thoughts and exhibiting God’s loving care. For preschoolers (two to K-5), our learning continues with the Gospel Project Sunday School Curriculum.
