Scott is our Orchestra Director. As the director, he leads the church orchestra in regular and special worship services. Scott coordinates the services with the music minister and prepares the orchestra through weekly rehearsals.

Scott graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1989 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. He began his ministry as the Instrumental Music Director at Lexington Baptist Church in 1991. In 2004, he joined the staff at Trinity Baptist as the Orchestra Director. During his musical career, Scott has participated in two European tours with Symphonic Bands as well as traveled throughout the southeast with various other bands. He has also served as a clinician for the Creative Worship and Music Department of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. He currently is directing a string quartet as well as directing and playing trumpet in a brass quintet.

He is married to Linda Clark and has three children: Jenny, Alex and Courtney.
