As Director, Susan coordinates the weekday staff and oversees all aspects of the weekday program. She is dedicated to assist parents as they seek to raise their children in a Christian home. She provides direction to staff in planning age-appropriate activities and effective communication with parents.

Susan and her family and moved to Lexington a little over two years ago, from Dallas, TX, after her husband accepted a position at the Baptist Convention of South Carolina. They are originally from the east coast (Virginia and Pennsylvania) and are glad to get back. Susan received her BS in Business Education from Radford University and taught for several years at various levels of public education. She left teaching for various administrative positions. Her last position as Senior Administrative Assistant and Meeting Planner for Safeguard Business Systems, Inc. took her to TX.

After having children, Susan chose to become a stay-at-home mom and went back to teaching preschoolers. After the move to South Carolina she was a substitute teacher and then the lead teacher for the 2 year-old room here at Trinity. Her daughters (Laura - 5 and Audra - 3) have both been a part of this program and Audra will continue here in the fall. She is excited about the upcoming year and is anxious to see what God has in store.
