Opportunities to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ through the 'Women's Ministry
Gotta' Grow Team - Gotta' Grow is the opportunity for women to learn and grow spiritually through Bible studies. It's also an opportunity for women to build relationships with other women in our church and community. These studies will take place through our church's Sunday Night Seminars and through the week in homes. We hope to also have a Wednesday morning study in the spring of 2008. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (II Timothy 3:15)
How can I serve through the Gotta' Grow Ministry? You can teach or host a study. You can teach and host, just teach or just host a Bible Study. Members of this team are required to be involved in a Bible study.
"Lift 'em Up!" Team -This team of women will be responsible for praying not only for the Women's Ministry as a whole, but also during special events while the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being presented and for women as they are challenged to go deeper with Jesus Christ "...always laboring fervently for you in prayers that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God." (Colossians 4:12b)
How can I serve through the "Lift 'em! Up" Team? Sign-up and show-up for special prayer times designated for specific events.
“The Informers'' 'Team - This team will keep the ladies of TBC and the community informed of upcoming events and what's happening at TBC through the Women's Ministry.”I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly." (Psalm 40:10)
How can I be a part of "The Informers" Team? Just sign-up and use your gifts of creating flyers, keeping the information for the website, Trumpet and Worship Guide updated, calling radio stations and newspapers, making phone tree messages, etc. . . to notify women about upcoming events with the Women's Ministry.
A "Special Touch" Team - This team is designed to welcome each new female member to Trinity Baptist Church and introduce her to the Women's Ministry of TBC through a "personal touch". We will give her a special gift bag with a note and information from the Women's Ministry about how to get involved. We will also make a follow-up phone call to answer any questions she may have. Encourage her to get involved. "Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:10)
How can I get invoked-with A "Special Touch" Team? Sign-up and help make the gift bags, write notes, make phone calls, deliver the information, put together the information for the gift bags, purchase items for the gift bags, etc…
The Dream Team - The Dream Team come up with new ideas for special events throughout the year. Early planning and new ideas are the keys needed to plan the Ultimate Taste and See Summer event, Girl's Night Out events, Movie Nights, Night of Encouragement, conferences, retreats, Coffee Houses, Christmas Tour of Homes, etc... "Where, there is no vision, the people perish." (Proverbs 29:18)
How can I be a part of the Dream Team? Sign-up, show-up for meetings and do whatever it takes for the ministry to be successful.
The "Go-Get-Hers" Team -This team will help with counseling, witnessing and evangelistic opportunities through Women's events, as well as help with Church-wide Jerusalem Projects as needed. (This group of women can also help when there are women who need assistance on Sunday mornings at the altar or in the Counseling area. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
How can I be a part of the Go-Get-Hers Team? Sign-up and be willing to go through some Counselor/Witnessing training with the Church. Be available at revivals, Women's events and conferences to listen, counsel and witness to women who need someone to talk to.
The "Red Carpet" Team - This team is responsible for the atmosphere of events. They will plan food and decorations; recruit table decorators, servers, cooks, clean-up crews and greeters; as well as participate in the areas mentioned. "Be hospitable to one another without grumbling." (I Peter 4:9)
How can I be a part of the “Red Carpet” Team? Sign, up and be ready to go to work.
The Women’s Ministry never stops providing inviting atmospheres for the women in our church and community. We desire to make all feel welcome and comfortable.
