Deacon Associates are an integral part of our Deacon ministry. Many of you may not be aware how they serve our church. Every Deacon Associate understands that the entire church should minister to the entire church family. They assist their assigned Deacons in many ways:

Visiting our homebound members and those who are in the hospital. They make contact each month with families assigned to their Deacon by calling, sending a card or letter or visiting in homes.

• Participating and assisting in welcoming guests on their Deacon’s assigned Sunday in the Narthex, entrance area for the choir and in the Welcome Center.
• Visiting first-time guests and delivering new member packets. The new member packets consist of a new Bible (when appropriate) and information about our church.

• Participating and assisting the Church Patrol on their Deacon’s Sunday

We are very thankful to have our faithful Deacon Associates serving as a part of our leadership team.
