Jesus Calling Bible Storybook by Sarah Young

These carefully selected stories are paired with new children’s devotions from Sarah Young and will help young hearts understand God’s grand plan to send His Son, Jesus, to save His children and prepare a place for us in heaven. 

 

This is an excellent app for parents of children ages 3 years old through 5th grade.  It coincides with the Sunday School material that Brenda and Kristine uses each Sunday morning.  In addition to being able to see your child's lessons, it provides follow up devotions, games and music for a fee of $0.99 (iPhone) or $2.99 (iPad) per quarter.

 

Faith Factor offers parents and teachers the opportunity to provide their children with a book that will develop and deepen an authentic relationship with Jesus through reading and prayer. This book covers the books of the New Testament. Readers will be able to understand the entirety of the Bible versus the few popular stories that tend to be the staple of their foundation. Full of "I-didn't-know-that-was-in-the Bible!" facts, this book will gently challenge children and new believers to study God's Word. For ages 9-12.

 

Written by a Christianity Today International editor, this devotional from the Book of Proverbs is designed to be a platform for you to talk about the issues that your 8-12-year-old child faces every day. They are designed to be short and simple so that you are more likely to read them as a family consistently throughout the year.

 

Long Story Short: Ten Minute Devotions to Draw Your Family to God & Old Story New: Ten Minute Devotions to Draw Your Family to God by Marty Machowski

Written by family pastor Marty Machowski, these will help you pass on Biblical truth in just ten minutes a day, five times a week through fun, devotional reading and activities. Long Story Short and Old Story New is suitable for children from preschool to high school.

 

Heart Connex Weekly Family Devotionals by Dr. Richard Ross

Heart Connex provides parents with free 20 minute Bible study devotionals in PDF format. These studies by Dr. Richard Ross contain solid Bible teaching presented in a warm, interactive format. Heart Connex involves students and parents, with each given specific things to say or do. The conclusion of each study suggests a meaningful way to pray as a family.

 

One Year Book of Josh McDowell's Family Devotions 2
