The Media Ministry is responsible for helping communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ and information about Trinity Baptist Church through the use of mass media. The Media Ministry also facilitates communication within and among the membership of the church. We also use other media to reach the public, including newspaper advertisements, brochures and signs.
Worship Media Team
The Worship Media team provides video clips, DVD clips and power point for all services. Our purpose is to enhance the worship service and relate God's Word to the congregation through multimedia. The team is made up of volunteers who use their computer skills to create imagery for worship that everyone can relate too.
Audio Team
The audio team provides sound mixing for all services and special events. Our purpose is to enhance the sound so that the worship is pleasing to God and His Word is heard with clarity and understanding.
Newsletter Media
The Media Ministry publishes the church newsletter, "The Trumpet," which is mailed biweekly to church member's homes to keep them informed about all the existing happenings in our church. Included in the last newsletter of the month, we also send a calendar of events for the upcoming month. We also provide desktop publishing services, such as the Sunday worship bulletin, promotional brochures, and educational materials.
Tape Ministry - how and when it is done - distributed by Deacons and other teams of volunteers as a ministry
The Media Distribution Ministry, which duplicates and distributes audio cassettes and CD's of Worship Services and special events. Anyone can request a copy of a service by completing the envelope in the back of the pew and putting it in the offering plate. The tape will be mailed to your home or can be picked up at the Church Office. We also deliver tapes of our Worship Service to our homebound members during our weekly visits to them.
Church Media Library
The Church Media Library maintains many types of books, including fiction, study guides, devotionals and books for children and youth. We have two to five volunteers who graciously serve in the library, along with the Church Librarian, Susan Harmon. Come by and see what we have to offer for your study time or just for the joy of reading.
