Trinity Baptist Church believes that prayer can change your life and ours. We have several prayer ministries listed below that you join. If you need us to pray for you, click here.
Intercessory Prayer Room (IPR)
The Prayer Room has been established for the sole purpose of an organized, ongoing ministry of intercession that under-girds everything we do such as a church. Intercession means praying for others - standing in the gap for one another. The IMP saturates the identity of Trinity Baptist Church and its ministries with prayer. Praying for revival and spiritual awakening, for the spread of the Gospel and for the salvation of souls is the heart of the IPM. It is a prayer support for our staff, every church member, foreign and home missions and for our community, state, nation and world. A yearlong commitment is made to pray for one hour every week in the intercessory Prayer Room. Prayergrams (notes of encouragement) are written and time is spent praising God for every answers to prayer we will see recorded on the Praise Board. Intercessors serve in our Intercessory Prayer Room on an hourly basis, seven days a week. When calls come into the Intercessory Prayer Room, they are received and other intercessors continue to pray for the need. There are presently two ways to be involved in the IPM: as a weekly intercessor - praying for one hour per week between the hours of 5:00 AM. and 11:00 PM, in the Intercessory Prayer Room; or as a substitute intercessor (agreeing to be on call to substitute to the confidentiality of each request.) The entire church body is encouraged to be involved in this exciting and powerful ministry as a weekly intercessor or substitute, by submitting prayer requests or by offering the Prayer line number (803-794-3355) to someone in need. If you are interested in learning how you can be a part of this exciting ministry, please call the Church Office at 791-0440 or Mary Boss at 996-1327.
Furnace Room Prayer Ministry
Become a prayer warrior during the Sunday morning worship service asking God to move in our services in a mighty way. You would join three or four other prayer warriors and a deacon to pray during the Sunday Morning Worship Service. A prayer guide is provided to facilitate effective prayer for that hour. For more information, contact the Church Office at 791-0440.
Prayer Meeting
A weekly Prayer meeting is held on Wednesday nights 6:30 to 7:30 PM, in Chapel and is led by the Pastor or a staff member. Prayer is offered for those who are sick, bereaved, shut - in or who have other special needs.
Prayer Guide
We have a prayer guide that is prepared weekly and lists current prayer needs at Trinity. You can pick-up one of these guides at the Prayer Meeting on Wednesday nights. We also leave copies of the guide in the Narthex and the Worship Center.
