The Discovery Class is held once per month for people who are contemplating joining Trinity Baptist Church or have recently joined the church. This class is divided into three parts-one for children, one for youth and one for adults. The children's class meets on the last Sunday in the month in the children's area of the educational building from 8:30 AM to noon. The adults meet in Room 230 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, and the youth meet at 11:00 AM, in Pineapple Sam's (Youth Room in Solomon's Porch) on an "as needed" basis. The children's class is conducted by Brenda Willis, the Children's Minister, and the adults are led by Chris Smith, one of the organizer's of this ministry. The youth session is conducted by Jeff Stilwell, the Youth Minister.
This class provides participants with an opportunity to discuss more fully their faith in Christ, church membership and gives them an orientation to the activities, programs and opportunities for all members of Trinity. This class is essential to those who wish to hold office or serve in any capacity in the life of the church in the future.
