At Trinity, volunteering isn't what we want from you, it's what we want for you. Not what you have to do, but what you get to do. It's simple. If you have an interest, you can count on us to help you find your ideal Volunteer Team.
To volunteer at Trinity, simply:
1. Choose a Volunteer Team that interests you.
2. If you choose a ministry that works with minors like preschool, Kidz (kindergarten- 5th grade), or students (6-12th grade), download and complete the background check form. Once you complete it, please seal it in an envelope (to protect your privacy) and mail it to Carolyn Prosser c/o Trinity Baptist Church. You may also email it directly to Carolyn at cprosser@tbccayce.com or stop by the church office and give it to her in person.
3. Complete a First Experience
Once you've chosen a team that interests you, you will be scheduled for your First Experience as a volunteer. It includes a brief orientation and the opportunity to shadow your Team. The First Experience is designed to assist you in finding your volunteering 'sweet spot.'
3. Commit to Volunteering
At Trinity, the initial commitment period to a Volunteer Team is three months. Once you've volunteered in a role for three months, you may continue in that role, try something different, or take a break from volunteering. Most of our volunteer teams are on a bi-weekly rotation. Your commitment will be based on your specific team.
