I missed Sunday morning worship for three weeks back in July due to my back issues. My time away reminded me of how important it is to be involved in corporate worship.
I’ve heard it a million times, “I can worship God without going to church.”
Last month we held a Literacy night for the first time! We invited all our TBWP family to join us on a Thursday night and we had fun activities planned in each classroom to encourage parents to think about reading, letter recognition, and letter sounds.
In the third chapter of his letter to the church in Philippi, the Apostle Paul exhorts his readers to “rejoice in the Lord” (Philippians 3:1).
God loves to show up in the final quarter and show off.
When it’s my turn to write the blog, a thousand topics always rush through my mind. I think of what God is teaching me personally, what I’m reading, and what the people who read this would most like to hear about.
It’s really amazing how much God has taught me about Himself through my first year of being a parent. I’d heard that this was the case before Graham was born, but really had no idea how true it would be, or how often these lessons would come.
